The towing carriage is an indispensable tool for carrying out model tests of ships in deep and shallow water conditions.
APPLICATION
In particular, the towing carriage enables the following tests:
- ship hull resistance tests,
- propulsion tests,
- free propeller,
- streamline tests,
- sea-keeping tests,
- captive model tests,
- linii prądu.
DEEP WATER TOWING CARRIAGES
The carriage creates a convenient platform for installing measurement equipment and carrying out various custom model tests.
SHALLOW WATER TOWING CARRIAGES
The device is equipped with a vertically adjustable platform for conducting experiments in waters of various depths.
Although the purpose of the towing carriage is to conduct model tests under conditions specific to inland waterways, it can be successfully used to perform various non-standard model tests, e.g. energy conversion devices used on rivers.
EDUCATIONAL TOWING CARRIAGES
The carriage can be used for testing commercial or educational models.
TOWED CARRIAGES
The towed carriage is intended to provide the possibility to test models of various marine structures in a model basin. A characteristic feature of the carriage is that it does not have a power supply and requires a towing carriage to be moved along the towing tank.
