Wave channels
Wave channels are a subgroup of water channels designed and manufactured by CTO S.A
CHARACTERISTIC
In the test section of the channel, wave phenomena at the boundary of liquids of different densities are analysed. The wave is generated manually with the help of a floodgate placed in the canal.
CONSTRUCTION
The position consists of:
- a precisely made test section made of tempered glass, which enables observation of the wave generated during the test,
- two supply tanks located directly above the test section, equipped with mixing devices with adjustable rotational speed,
- drain tank with transport pump,
- a transport pipeline system with manually operated valves.
